SUZANN ELLIS (Co-Producer) is senior vice president of development and production at Beacon Communications, one of the industryís leading independent production companies. Working as the assistant to company founder and chairman Armyan Bernstein as Beacon made such films as The Commitments, A Life in the Theatre and Air Force One, Ellis was named creative executive in 1994, and in 1998, her stewardship on several of Beaconís upcoming projects earned her the title of vice president of production.

Ellis co-produced Galaxy Quest, starring Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman, which DreamWorks will release Christmas, 1999.

In addition, she is developing the novel Back to the Moon, written by Homer Hickam, Jr. (October Sky).

After graduating UCLA with a degree in theater, Ellis began working in commercials at The Power & Light Picture Company. She was an assistant coordinator on a number of national commercials with acclaimed photographer/director David Bailey, before joining Beacon.
